Chairing the group is California's CIO Teri Takai assisted by her Chief Deputy Director for Policy and Programs Adrian Farley and Chief of Staff Joe Camacia.

New members to the Advisory Board include: Marjorie Berte, Undersecretary, Business Transportation and Housing; Mark Weatherford, Executive Officer, Office of Information Security and Privacy Protection; Randi Levin, CIO and General Manager, City of Los Angeles; Richard Sanchez, Acting CIO, County of Los Angeles; Chris Vein, CIO City of San Francisco and Diane Ducay, Program Budget Manager, Department of Finance.

This exceptional group of public sectors leaders had their initial meeting last week to begin planning for this year's exciting forum.



A big thanks to all those that joined us for the kick-off of the 2008 Conference on California's Future. By all measures this event was a tremendous success.

Plans are now well underway for our 2009 event and we can tell you now that if you are a public or private sector leader with an interest in where the Golden State  is headed in the decade ahead this is a leadership summit you will not want to miss.
